Introducing the Alert Feature

The alert feature enables traders to set up custom Real-Time On-Chain alerts sent to their Telegram chat based on specific conditions in their trading strategy.

With the Alert feature, you can define rules that trigger an alert when certain conditions are met in the market. For instance, you can set an alert to notify you when a specific token’s price reaches a certain level, or when a liquidity pool’s balance changes by a particular percentage.

Alert Feature in Action: A Use Case

Imagine you’re a DeFi trader who has various positions in multiple protocols. You’ve got funds staked in Aave, and you’re yield farming on SushiSwap, and you’re providing liquidity on Uniswap. It’s quite a challenge to keep track of all these positions manually, isn’t it? That’s where the Alert feature comes in.

For instance, let’s say you’re keen on maintaining a healthy loan-to-value (LTV) ratio in your Aave position to avoid possible liquidation. You set an Alert with the Visual Builder, specifying the condition that if your LTV ratio crosses 70%, the Visual Builder should alert you. Once this condition is triggered, you receive a notification, and you can quickly add more collateral or pay back some of your loan to reduce your LTV ratio.

On SushiSwap, you’re yield farming, and you want to be alerted whenever the APY drops below a certain percentage, let’s say 15%. Again, you can set an Alert specifying this condition. If the APY drops below 15%, you get notified, allowing you to reconsider your yield farming strategy, withdraw your funds, or reallocate them to a more profitable farm.

Over on Uniswap, you’re providing liquidity in the ETH/USDT pool. You’re concerned about impermanent loss, so you set an Alert to notify you if the price ratio of ETH/USDT deviates by more than 5% from when you provided liquidity. This way, you can manage your position proactively, either by adding more liquidity to rebalance your position or by withdrawing your liquidity to prevent further losses.

By using the Alert feature in these scenarios, you can stay on top of your DeFi trading strategy, manage your risks effectively, and save time by not having to monitor the markets manually. This gives you a clear advantage, allowing you to respond quickly to market changes and adjust your strategies in a timely manner. The Alert feature serves a broad spectrum of market participants, including investment funds, asset management platforms, and financial institutions exploring DeFi.

  1. Investment and Hedge Funds: These entities can use alerts to monitor their portfolios and quickly adapt to market movements, facilitating effective portfolio rebalancing and risk management.

  1. Asset Management Platforms: Real-time on-chain alerts enable these platforms to respond swiftly to market changes, enhancing their service efficiency.

  1. Financial Institutions venturing into DeFi: The Alert feature provides these institutions with a reliable tool for tracking on-chain data in real time, ensuring control and compliance in the DeFi environment.

The versatility of the Alert feature underscores its potential to revolutionize the DeFi trading landscape by catering to a diverse range of market segments.
